How long does the full migration take?
Most clubs complete the migration in 4-8 weeks from kickoff to cutover. The timeline includes setup, member onboarding, a dual-run period, and final cutover. Clubs with complex integrations or large member bases may need 8-12 weeks.
Can I run TPC Matchpoint and Book & Go in parallel during the transition?
Yes. Many clubs run both systems for 2-4 weeks while members transition. During this period, freeze long-horizon bookings on TPC Matchpoint (bookings beyond the cutover date) to avoid conflicts.
What happens to existing TPC Matchpoint bookings?
All bookings made before cutover are honored. Book & Go imports upcoming reservations (next 30-60 days) so members see their existing bookings in the new app.
How do we migrate member wallet balances and club balance?
TPC Matchpoint offers club balance and wallet features. Wallet balances cannot be automatically transferred. Options: (1) manually credit wallets in Book & Go based on TPC Matchpoint export, or (2) allow members to spend down credits before cutover.
Do we need to notify TPC Matchpoint before switching?
Review your TPC Matchpoint contract for notice requirements. Some agreements have notice periods or early termination fees. Contact TPC Matchpoint support to discuss your exit plan.
What if our members refuse to switch?
Resistance is rare when migration is well-communicated. Key tactics: (1) early preview access for loyal members, (2) emphasize benefits (your brand, open matches, built-in POS, zero commission), (3) in-club support during first week. Most clubs see 80%+ adoption within 2 weeks.
What is the difference between TPC Matchpoint and MATCHi?
TPC Matchpoint is the branded-app product in the MATCHi family. Matchpoint provides the custom iOS/Android app, tournaments, leagues, and club management. MATCHi is the optional marketplace and TV streaming ecosystem. If you want standalone white-label with no marketplace coupling, Book & Go is fully independent.
Does TPC Matchpoint have automatic access control and court lights?
Yes. TPC Matchpoint publishes automatic access and light control (PIN with booking) on their site. Book & Go offers door access integrations. If your club requires automatic lighting control as well, verify availability with Book & Go before switching.
Does Book & Go have a dedicated stand-alone coach app like Matchpoint?
No. TPC Matchpoint offers a stand-alone coaches app. Book & Go integrates coach tools into the main platform's coach portal. If your coaches need a separate dedicated app, Matchpoint offers that.
Can I use Book & Go if I want MATCHi TV streaming?
Book & Go does not currently integrate with MATCHi TV. TPC Matchpoint offers MATCHi TV streaming (QR at court) as part of their ecosystem. If MATCHi TV is a requirement, Matchpoint is the better fit.
Does Book & Go work in Europe and Latin America like TPC Matchpoint?
Yes. Book & Go supports multi-language interfaces and multi-currency payments, with clubs operating across Europe, Americas, Asia, and the Pacific. TPC Matchpoint has a long-tenure presence in Europe and Latin America. Both work globally.
Will I lose booking traffic if I leave the MATCHi marketplace?
TPC Matchpoint's optional MATCHi marketplace coupling can drive player discovery and walk-in traffic. If your revenue model depends on marketplace discovery traffic, you'll lose that channel. However, you gain full ownership of your customer base, direct marketing control, and zero commission on bookings. Most established clubs find owned-marketing channels (push, email, in-app) generate higher-value repeat bookings than marketplace walk-ins.
